What we hold, and why
Requesting an invitation is the only thing on this website that collects anything about you. There is no advertising pixel, no analytics script belonging to anyone else, and no cookie that follows you anywhere.
What a request stores
- Your first name, so an invitation can be written to someone.
- Your mobile number, because that is where an invitation arrives.
- Your email address, only if you gave one.
- The city or postcode you would travel from, only if you gave one.
- That you confirmed you are 25 or older, and that you agreed to be contacted, with the exact wording you agreed to and the moment you agreed to it.
- Which campaign brought you here, for example “instagram”. This is a label on the request, not a profile of you.
What we do with it
We read it, and we either open a place for you or we do not. If we do, we message you about this event. That is the whole purpose, and it is the legal basis: your consent to be contacted about this invitation.
You are not added to a mailing list. Consenting to be contacted about an invitation is not consenting to marketing, and we do not treat it as though it were.
Who sees it
The people running the event. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone who is not needed to send you a message or let you through a door.
How long we keep it
We have not yet fixed how long a request is kept, and we are not going to print a period here that we cannot yet prove we honour. What is true today is that a request is held until the edition you asked about has happened, and that deleting it on request is something you can ask for at any time, at the address below.
The retention period, and the automatic deletion that goes with it, are listed as unfinished at the bottom of this page. They will be stated here once they exist in the system rather than only in an intention.
Spam protection
To stop a script submitting the form thousands of times, a hash of your network address and browser is held for ten minutes and then discarded. It cannot be reversed and it is not joined to your request. The discarding is done by the system itself, on a clock, whether or not anyone visits in the meantime.
Your rights
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will. Write to hello@tmtc.events. Deleting your request withdraws your consent and removes you from consideration; there is no version of this where you keep the place and lose the record.
Still to be completed before launch
The legal entity responsible for this data, its registered address and its data protection contact are not yet published here, because they are not yet fixed.
Neither is the retention period, nor the automatic deletion that will enforce it. Nor is there yet a self-service way to get a copy of what we hold or to have it deleted — today that is a request to a person, honoured by hand. This page is not final until all of those exist.
