House Rules · 002. A DIFFERENT WORLD.SAME RESPECT.

ICE is created to be experienced together. These rules exist for one simple reason: to keep the night safe, respectful and unforgettable for everyone who enters our world.

Minimum age25+No exceptions

THE FIRST NIGHT OF 2027FRIDAY · JANUARY 1 · 2027 · 17:00CATHARINAKERK · DOETINCHEM

01Entering ICE

ICE is a 25+ experience: every guest must be 25 or older on the day of the event. We may ask for valid identification, and where age cannot be verified, entry may be refused. Admission requires a valid ticket, personal invitation or ICE Pass — these may be personal, and may never be copied, manipulated or misused. Security checks may form part of admission; refusing one may mean refusal of entry. ICE may refuse or revoke admission where reasonably necessary for safety, security, public order or these House Rules.

No exceptions. One night. One world.

02Respect

Everyone should be able to experience ICE freely and safely. Discrimination, intimidation, aggression, violence, sexual harassment, unwanted physical contact and other threatening behaviour have no place here. Respect the people around you, our artists and crew, and the building that holds us. If something does not feel right, speak to the ICE crew or security.

03The Church

For one night, the Catharinakerk becomes the world of ICE. We are guests in a remarkable building: treat the church, its interior, its objects and its surroundings with care. Do not climb on structures, move objects or furniture, attach anything to the building, interfere with installations, or enter areas closed to guests. Deliberate damage or theft ends the night for you and may be reported.

Leave nothing behind but the memory.

04What stays outside

Weapons, fireworks, glassware, lasers and other dangerous or prohibited objects are not permitted. Your own alcohol, food and drinks stay outside, unless reasonably necessary for medical or dietary reasons and agreed where appropriate.

Illegal drugs may not be possessed, used, supplied or traded at ICE. Guests who are clearly intoxicated, or whose condition or behaviour puts themselves or others at risk, may be refused entry or asked to leave. Professional photo, video or recording equipment requires prior permission from ICE.

05Safety first

Emergency exits, escape routes, access routes and fire-safety equipment must stay clear at all times. Never interfere with barriers, lighting, sound, electrical equipment, special effects or safety installations. Instructions from ICE crew, security, venue staff and emergency services must always be followed.

In an emergency, their instructions override everything else.

06Your ICE Pass

Your ICE bracelet is more than something around your wrist: during the night it may become your access, your identity and your way of interacting with ICE. Never copy, manipulate, transfer or misuse a bracelet, ticket, invitation, NFC function, crystals or any other ICE system. Lost or damaged? Tell the crew at once. Replacement and any balance or value follow the applicable ICE payment conditions; rules on crystals and refunds follow separately.

07Experience it

Photography and filming take place during ICE, and guests may incidentally appear in atmospheric photography and video. Identifiable promotional use and personal data follow applicable privacy law and the ICE Privacy Statement. Phones are welcome for personal photos and short recordings, provided they do not interfere with other guests, artists, crew or the experience. Professional or commercial recording requires prior permission.

Experience the night before you record it.

08Light · Sound · Atmosphere

ICE is an immersive experience. The night may include loud amplified music, darkness, rapidly changing and theatrical lighting, haze, smoke, low fog, scents and other sensory or show effects. Hearing protection is recommended and available at the event. Anything else relevant to health and accessibility will be communicated before the event where appropriate.

09Smoking

Smoking and vaping are only permitted where this is expressly allowed. Follow venue signage and instructions from the ICE crew.

10Bags · Coats · Belongings

Restrictions may apply to the size and type of bags permitted inside ICE; final bag and cloakroom arrangements follow before the event. Your belongings remain your own responsibility, subject to applicable law and any cloakroom conditions. Found something that is not yours? Give it to the ICE crew.

11Leaving ICE

The final re-entry policy follows before the event. If re-entry is permitted, it requires your own valid bracelet or access credential, and it is never transferred to another person.

12When the night changes

ICE is a live experience. Artists, timetable, spaces, programme elements and parts of the production may change when circumstances require it. Material changes, and any rights arising from cancellation or other circumstances, follow the applicable Ticket Terms and consumer law.

13If the rules are broken

A serious or repeated breach may mean refusal of entry or removal, without prejudice to rights under applicable law. Where appropriate, security, emergency services or the police may be involved.

There will be hundreds of people inside ICE. But the night only works when everyone treats it as if it belongs to all of us.

LOOK AFTER YOURSELF.LOOK AFTER EACH OTHER.LOOK AFTER THE PLACE THAT HOLDS US.

ENTER WITH RESPECT.LEAVE WITH A MEMORY.
